On today\u2019s episode we get ready to journey over the river and through the woods to Grandma\u2019s house; but if the horse doesn\u2019t know the way or can\u2019t pull the sleigh, what happens then? I don\u2019t want to be a doom and gloom guy but this year definitely feels different.<\/p>\n<h4>Main Topic:<\/h4>\n<p>Rule of 3\u2019s &#8211; in any survival situation, these should be your priorities. You can survive<br \/>\n3 minutes without air<br \/>\n3 hours without shelter in extreme heat\/cold<br \/>\n3 days without water<br \/>\n3 weeks without food<br \/>\nWhat to keep in your car<br \/>\nWhat to put in a pack when skiing\/hiking<br \/>\nBasic 1st aid<br \/>\nFrostbite<br \/>\ndon\u2019t rub frostbitten skin &#8211; the ice crystals in the cells will cause more damage if they\u2019re rubbed<br \/>\nDon\u2019t put it near \u201chot\u201d stuff, use mildly warm things.<br \/>\nHypothermia<br \/>\nSprains\/strains<br \/>\nbone breaks<br \/>\nHow to light a fire in the snow and\/or when things are wet<br \/>\nCheck under logs and trees for dry kindling<br \/>\nSplit logs when possible, the inside will be drier<br \/>\nIf snow is shallow, dig down to bare ground.
